Thank you for taking such great care of our family during our sisters passing. Your tenderness and compassion will never be forgotten. Those days were the darkest days in our lives. At a time of immense sadness you were incredibly understanding and compassionate. It did not go unnoticed how you took care of my dad, and the warmth and sympathy you showed towards our family- especially my mom. I am so grateful for you handled taking my dad from the house that night, you established a sense of trust with our family the moment you walked in the door. The pictures you provided us give me great comfort. I really appreciate these wonderful gifts. His presence fills the room and still thinks he’s in charge. You did a great job for us and everyone was happy with everything, which is quite an accomplishment with our large families. You handled everything with class and finesse. I know your “Uncle George” is very proud of you and is probably taking full credit for your great job! Good luck with your new family and good luck in business. You’re a natural!

As a coach I would look for a player who was cool, calm and deliver under pressure. Tim you were put in impossible situation and you were a true champion. You were able to deliver and give more than expected. You gave an absolutely unthinkable tragedy bearable, succinct closure. Your future is faced with helping people through very sorrowful times. You have a way of making people feel free to let go in a manner that is warm, compassionate, and loving from beginning to end.. Nothing was forgotten. Sadly, our mother passed away after a short but intense battle with brain cancer. My family was devastated, and in that state of devastation had to plan her memorial and funeral. That’s where Burns Garfield, and Tim Burns, came in. At every level, and with every detail, they were truly excellent. Tim encouraged us to think of the Life Celebration as the beginning of the healing process, and it was. He helped in so many practical ways. But even more importantly, he helped to create a truly personal and beautiful space for friends and family to remember Mom. We provided photos and information about Mom’s likes and loves. Tim used all that to create stunning visual backdrops, slideshows, a puzzle with a photo of our mother to engage the youngsters in our family, a calendar of her life and more. I’m not sure where I will be when my time comes, but I’d consider having my body shipped back to Syracuse just so I could have my Life Celebration at Burns Garfield! That’s how good they are. I give Burns Garfield my highest recommendation.

I want to thank you for all the support and service you provided me through dad’s passing. The service you provided was more than I could have imagined and all the visitors have told me how impressed they were. Thank you for being there for me through the emotional/difficult moments and taking such good care of my dear father. More importantly thanks for being my dad’s friend. It made the process, after his passing feel so much better knowing the person who was helping knew pops.

Your attention to her, and who she was and what she meant to so many brought great comfort and peace to us.
